Hey all, I apologize for the lack of updates, it has been very hectic here but I wanted to let you know where we are with the reprints.
The books actually were delivered on October 6th as scheduled but they were not delivered to the correct place. A lack of communication led to a big misunderstanding but we finally have it figured out. The books were recovered by the fulfillment team and are being readied for delivery now.
I understand the sentiment of not supporting issue 2 until receiving issue 1. Their should not have been an issue with fulfillment. All of you should have had your issue 1 rewards before launch but things got behind. 25 books needed to be reprinted, which took much longer than they should have. Then the issue with the botched delivery made it worse.
I know how this looks to everyone but I can assure you that we only have the best of intentions while launching and fulfilling these campaigns. The teams work on several different projects so scheduling these launches and fulfillment duties are difficult throughout the year when factors outside of my control happen. I do take full responsibility for not communicating these events to you all better. That is something that I am working on getting better.
I will update you as soon as I hear from the fulfillment team on the progress of the reprints. Again, I apologize for the trouble and completely understand those who are angry with us. Your feedback is welcome and we are working diligently to address these issues and correct them.
